Apart from this, KEA has also released the seat matrix for MBA programmes. The result of Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) was declared on August 19, 2017. Karnataka PGCET 2017 was held on July 2, 2017, from 2.30 PM to 4.30 PM. The hall ticket of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2017 was available from June 25. The application process had commenced from May 17, 2017, and ended on June 5, 2017. Karnataka PGCET MBA 2017 allows business schools to screen candidates to MBA programme across Karnataka. Karnataka PGCET MBA Counselling/Seat Allotment 2017
PGCET MBA 2017 first round seat allotment result has been announced. Candidates can check the seat allotment result by entering their PGCET number. The counselling for Karnataka PGCET MBA 2017 was held from August 30, 2017. Based on the performance of candidates in the Karnataka PGECT MBA 2017, the merit list will be prepared and published. Candidates who meet the required marks will be allowed to participate in the counselling round. The last date of counselling is September 7, 2017. Also, the conducting authority has released the seat matrix to MBA programme at various institutes.

Karnataka PGCET MBA Result 2017
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA)- the conducting body, has declared the result of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2017 on August 19, 2017. The result of the entrance exam has been made available in the form of ranks. Once the results are out, a merit list will be prepared based on which selected candidates will be called for the next round of counselling/ seat allotment. The Mock Allotment Result has been declared on September 12, 2017.
Karnataka PGCET MBA Merit List 2017
KEA the conducting body of PGCET MBA releases a merit list along with the result. The Karnataka PGCET MBA 2017 merit list is based on the basis of marks scored by candidates in the exam. The marks obtained in the qualifying exam is considered only for eligibility. Therefore, candidates are advised to attend the PGCET MBA counselling only when they have met the score requirement.
Karnataka PGCET MBA Answer Key 2017
The provisional answer key of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2017 was available from July 13, 2017. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) had released the answer key of the MBA entrance exam. The best part of the Karnataka PGCET MBA 2017 answer key- candidates/ parents/ lecturers could file their objections on or before July 17, 2017, before 5:30 pm. However, before doing that they have to support their objection with supporting evidence and documents. Objections without any justification will not be entertained.

The admit card or the hall ticket of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2017 was available for candidates who have registered for the entrance exam. The hall ticket was available from June 25, 2017. Karnataka PGCET MBA Exam Pattern 2017
The exam pattern of Karnataka MBA PGCET 2017 comprises of MCQs which has to be completed in the given duration. The question paper of the entrance exam will have four different versions. And each question will come with four options to choose from. The right response will carry one mark. The exam comprises four sections and each section is worth 25 marks, making the entire Karnataka PGCET MBA 2017 of 100 marks.

A bachelor’s degree of minimum three years from a recognised university
Minimum 50% in all subjects
While for SC/ST & Category-I the minimum is 45% marks
Karnataka PGCET MBA Application Form 2017
The application form for Karnataka PGCET MBA 2017 was available only in online mode. The application form was available from May 17, 2017. Whereas, the deadline to fill the application form was June 5, 2017. The last date to pay the application fee was June 5, 2017. Earlier, the application deadline was June 1 which was extended until June 5. Test takers had to first make sure they were eligible to take the test. While filling the application form of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2017, detailed such as applicant’s personal, academic, contact information and more had to be mentioned in the form.
Once the application form was complete, candidates had to retain few documents with them as a reference for future. Documents such as printouts of the application form, evidence of fee payment and copies of photo ID uploaded on the online application.
Application Fee: Candidates from General and OBC category, the application fee was Rs. 650, while for SC/ST and Category-I, the application fee was Rs. 500.

Documents that will be Needed During Application Form Filling
Following is the list of documents which will be needed during the application form filling. Candidates must keep these ready before filling the Karnataka Diploma CET application form.

- Parent’s / Guardian’s Signature
All of these documents are to be scanned and uploaded in JPG or JPEG format. The images size should not be more than 40KB. Candidates should also note that the dimension of the image should be between 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm. However, the dimension of signature and left hand thumb impression should be 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm.
Process to Submit the Application Form
The process to submit the application form of Karnataka Diploma CET 2017 is as mentioned below:
Step-1: Access the link provided on this page. Then click on ‘New User? Register Here’. Read all the given instructions and then click ‘Proceed to Apply Online’ button.
Step -2: Next, the candidates will have to answer following question:
- Whether the Student is a Citizen of India? – Yes or No
Step-3: Now the candidates will be required to register online. To do so, candidates will have to submit the following details:
- User ID – it should be more than 6 characters long
- Password – minimum of 8 characters
- Name of the Candidate
- Name of Father
- Name of Mother
- Date of Birth
- Mobile Number
- E-mail Id
- Secret Question
- Security Code – It will be displayed on the screen
Once the candidate is registered, they will be allocated an Application Number. The number should be saved properly.
Step-4: The candidates will then be required to register by submitting the User ID and Password. Consequent to it, the application form will be displayed. In KEA DCET 2017 application form the candidates will have to personal, educational and other details. After submitting the details, the candidates will have to upload the above mentioned documents.
Step-5: The last step is to remit the application fee. The amount of fee is as mentioned above and the candidates will have to submit it through e-challan only.
It is advised that the candidates download the confirmation page and proof of fee payment with them. It might be required in future.
